Program Overview

In this two-week master class, you'll get all the knowledge and tools needed to create effective budgeting habits for your finances.

Participants will gain an understanding of how to build their credit scores, learn strategies on maximizing 401(k) contributions, calculate personal net worth, and effectively budget to set the foundation for future investment strategies.

Program Content

Week 1: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Truth of Personal Credit

In this session, participants will understand the meaning of good v. bad credit, how credit is calculated, how to strengthen their credit score, and tips and tricks to get out of debt and maintain their credit score.

Week 2: Personal Budgeting and Introduction to Wealth Building

In this final session, participants will take an in-depth look at personal finances. Participants will learn the fundamentals of proper budgeting, how to “bundle save” and shop insurance rates wealth building. Students will learn how to maximize their employee benefits and discuss the difference between passive and residual income streams. Also, students will learn how to calculate and keep track of their own net worth.
