Integral Education and Training
- Integrated Education and Training or IET, is an innovative approach to help students acquire the essential skills they need to succeed in the job market. Through IET, students can pursue specific training for specific sectors of the job market while simultaneously enrolling in programs such as English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) or GED preparation.
- This unique approach allows students to acquire the knowledge they need to compete for jobs in high-demand industries. IET is an effective way to meet the needs of adult learners, and an excellent investment for students seeking to improve their career prospects and earning potential.
Requirements
and Enrollment
Process
ESOL students can access a specific list of programs, while GED students have their own tailored options.
- Must be 16 years or older (18+ for the CNA program). Minors will need parental/guardian permission and proof of voluntary withdrawal from school (if attending another similar program).
- Complete the Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems (CASAS) placement test at one of our centers (one-time fee of $20) and achieve level 5. On the day of the test, you must present a valid government-issued photo ID to take the test (passport or driver’s license)
- Must be 16 years or older. Minors will need parental/guardian permission and proof of voluntary withdrawal from school (if attending another similar program).
- Complete the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) placement test at one of our centers. On the day of the exam you must present a valid government-issued photo ID in order to take the exam. (Passport, driver's license, etc). More information about TABE testing
- Available for students in GED level NRS 5 and 6 scores.
