Course Description

This course is designed to expand students’ English speaking, reading, and writing skills. Language comprehension and confidence is built by engaging students in practice exercises, such as small and whole group activities. Writing skills are developed by focusing on parts of speech, sentence structure, and usage of grammar concepts. Students continue to build vocabulary and reading strategies by engaging with language in a variety of settings.

Prerequisites

Placement Test to determine English proficiency or successful completion of Intensive English Level 2 recommended.
