Course Description

This course has been designed to help you understand important elements of developing your financial plan. These include fundamentals for managing your budget, managing your liquidity, protecting your wealth, personal investing, and retirement and estate planning. After completing this course, students will better understand the planning process and learn how to integrate the topics into an understandable plan for their financial future.

Learner Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to demonstrate the following competencies: Articulating and explaining the variables that go into forming a budget. Recognizing the need for liquidity and for managing your money and credit. Understanding the need to protect your assets and wealth. Demonstrating the various methods of investing and their risks. Understanding the various methods of retirement and estate planning.
