Course Description

This hands-on course introduces participants to the fundamentals of professional makeup application for diverse clients. Participants will learn essential techniques including color matching, contouring, highlighting, and working with different face shapes. By the end of the course, participants will be prepared to apply makeup professionally for special events, photoshoots, and client consultations.

Course Outline

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

1. Conduct a client consultation to identify skin types, face shapes, and desired looks.

2. Apply makeup professionally with attention to color theory and facial features.

3. Demonstrate a range of makeup styles: natural, glam, evening, and photography-ready looks.

4. Explain best practices for sanitation, product selection, and setup in a professional environment.

5. Develop a visual portfolio showcasing before-and-after makeup looks.

  • Personal brush set, disposable applicators, color palettes, small mirror

  • Notebook and pen.
