Course Description

This course prepares students to meet or exceed the requirements outlined in the FAA-S-8081-10E (Dispatcher Practical Test Standards) and to successfully complete the Aircraft Dispatcher (ADX) written examination and the practical test. The curriculum focuses on the critical responsibilities of an Aircraft Dispatcher in operational control, including flight planning, en route monitoring, and emergency decision-making. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to take the FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certification exams (knowledge and practical).

Prerequisites

1. Must be 23 years of age to obtain FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certification. (Students may enroll at an earlier age if permitted by the institution, but certification cannot be issued until the age requirement is met.)

2. In accordance with 14 CFR Part 65 and ICAO guidelines, all students must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
