Course Description

This course was designed to introduce students to the language of accounting and use of double entry. The course introduces journals and ledgers, financial reports, and ratio analysis with a focus on financial data and statement analysis. Students become familiar with balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports. Prerequisites/Corequisite Information: Some background knowledge in bookkeeping and tax preparation recommended, but not required.
