Course Description

During this pre-college summer camp spanning four weeks, participants who are high school graduating seniors will delve into essential skills such as measuring vital signs, comprehending fundamental heart morphology, performing EKG testing, and analyzing heart rate and rhythms. The program will also cover topics like HIPAA regulations, infection control, patient consent, and effective communication. In the final week, pre-college students will undergo practice reviews at the Medical campus testing center, preparing them for the national certification exam. The camp concludes with a completion ceremony, commemorating the achievement of EKG Technician certification.
