Course Description

This course was designed to provide beginning students with the knowledge and skills to read construction drawings for single-family residential and commercial construction sites. Fundamental principles and application methods of architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical drawings will be discussed. Students become knowledgeable with construction terminology, systems of construction, and materials used by the AEC (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) industry.
