Course Description

The Blended BLS Instructor course is designed to prepare AHA instructors or health care providers to disseminate and teach the science, skills and philosophy of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) programs to participants enrolled in AHA courses. Must successfully monitor 2 CPR courses with Instructor approval before receiving BLS instructor card within 6 months of course date; No Exceptions. The instructor course is taught according to the protocols of the AHA. You can also purchase the book in the bookstore.

Prerequisites

Students must complete online portion PRIOR to instructor-led course; no exceptions: Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Essentials Online 20-3103 (https://shopcpr.heart.org/) Online Certificate of Completion must be provided prior to registration.
