Course Description

NCCER Core: Introduction to Basic Construction Skills prepares students with the fundamental knowledge and abilities necessary for entering entry-level positions within the construction industry.
The course covers various aspects of the industry and provides an overview of the roles and responsibilities of various professionals in the field.
Throughout the course, students become familiar with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career in the craft profession. In addition to construction skills, the course focuses on developing basic communication and employability skills.
The OSHA 10-hour training imparts fundamental safety and health knowledge to newcomers entering both the construction and general industry sectors.
