Course Description
This course prepares learners to design, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot secure cloud environments across public, private, hybrid, and multi-cloud infrastructures. Following the CompTIA Cloud+ certification objectives, students will gain the skills to optimize cloud performance, automate workflows, secure cloud resources, and ensure high availability of business-critical systems. The curriculum blends theory with hands-on lab exercises to build real-world competency in virtualization, networking, storage, security, and automation within cloud environments.
Learners completing this course will be prepared to pursue the CompTIA Cloud+ certification and take on roles such as Cloud Systems Administrator, Cloud Engineer, or Cloud Support Specialist.
Learner Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Design and implement cloud solutions by comparing service and deployment models, configuring resources, and managing cost and performance.
2. Deploy and automate cloud environments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and scripting tools.
3. Manage and secure cloud operations including access control, monitoring, incident response, and compliance requirements.
4. Troubleshoot cloud environments to identify performance, connectivity, and configuration issues across multi-cloud infrastructures.
Prerequisites
• 2–3 years of experience in system administration, networking, or data center management OR completion of foundational IT courses such as CompTIA Network+ or Server+.
• Basic knowledge of virtualization, networking protocols, and security fundamentals is recommended.
