Course Description

Financial security with the goal being financial independence is essential for success. And the earlier you master the fundamentals, the better. The Business Innovation & Technology (BIT) Center of Miami Dade College is offering a Stocks & Crypto Camp for High School students. Taught by an MDC Professor of Finance and guest speakers. The professor will relate each topic with basic concepts of financial investments analysis, risk/reward tradeoff, correlation and diversification, trading, market liquidity and accessibility. Students will also learn the fundamentals Blockchain, Bitcoin Currency, Artificial Intelligence and Financial Technology (FINTECH). In addition, students will learn about personal branding and career preparation, resume, cover letters, networking skills, and more.
