Course Description

This course is designed to provide students with the essential knowledge and skills of human resource management. Students learn about behavioral competencies and become familiar with aspects of HR knowledge areas, such as: strategic human resources, recruitment and selection, orienting and training employees, principles of employment law, fundamentals of compensation and benefits, as well as quality performance. A certificate from the Society for Human Resources Management will be awarded upon successful completion of this course.

A full refund (100% of tuition) is granted if a class is dropped or request is submitted by email on or before the drop deadline (the day before the class starts). Requests made after the deadline require a written appeal to the department and are not guaranteed.
